Data governance officer


My role is to help implement a formal corporate-level data management and governance programme, to tackle and resolve issues that are impacting on the data within Jisc, and to mitigate the risks that the business is exposed to now and could be exposed to in the future.

I work closely with the data warehouse team, system owners and business users to ensure that data quality requirements are defined, documented and translated in to effective processes that improve the quality of our data. 


I come from a mainly financial services background, with a focus on investigating and resolving data related issues, as well as working with CRM systems and producing management information and reports for key stakeholders.
