My role at Jisc is to create a learning culture; providing training and learning resources to all Jisc employees to support both their personal development needs / wants and their professional development in line with the Jisc strategy.
My career began with Centrica (British Gas) where I worked in a number of learning and development roles in a variety of business areas becoming a qualified trainer and coach in the process.
From here, I moved to ING Direct UK as a learning and development consultant moving into an organisational development consultancy role. At ING, I was responsible for all management development and soft skills training for the company as well as providing a consultancy service to the customer services/experience directorate. I also partnered the ING Direct IT directorate's learning and development strategy.
I then moved to an SME with the aim of making a big difference within a smaller company, where I stayed until I joined Jisc in July 2015.
I am an executive management coach, specialising in cognitive behavioural change, positive psychology, brain friendly leaning as well as being a master practitioner of neuro linguistic programming. I also specialise in team coaching and development.
