Role
I am an associate software developer in the Software Development group. As part of a team, my work includes projects such as redeveloping Online Surveys from the ground up using JavaScript, React, and Material UI; UK Census Aggregate Statistics (UKCAS); and a brand new platform for accessing and converting postcode data from GeoConvert, again using JavaScript, React, and Material UI.
Background
I hold a degree in media technology and have worked for Jisc for several years. I started out providing support on UK censuses dating back to 1961 as well as UKDS.Stat where users can explore international time-series data. After nearly ten years of this, I moved to the Software Development group where I currently work.
