Jamey Hart

Data quality officer (UK Data Service)

Role

As data quality officer for the UK Data Service, I routinely provide quality control to ensure all published data are correct.

I primarily provide support and maintenance for data across all UK censuses dating back to 1961. This has meant working with data from the Office for National Statistics (ONS), the Northern Ireland Statistics and Research Agency (NISRA), and the National Records of Scotland (NRS).

I also regularly work with international macrodata from organizations such as the OECD, the IMF, and the World Bank.

Background

I hold a degree in media technology and have worked for Jisc for a number of years providing support on UK censuses dating back to 1961 as well as UKDS.Stat where users can explore international time-series data.
