My role is to manage the membership and sales training team and lead the planning, design and delivery of our internal training and CPD.
Our work is currently focused on the development of the skills and capability which allow Jisc to deliver an excellent account manager experience for our members and customers.
I have been working in research, teaching and staff development in higher education for over 20 years. I joined Jisc Netskills in 1998 where, from 2005, as senior trainer and later as service manager, I managed the national and onsite training programmes and materials provision.
From 2003 to 2014, I also developed and taught undergraduate and postgraduate computing science modules at Newcastle University and became a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
More recently my focus has been on developing capabilities for individuals and teams operating in fast-moving, technology-driven environments - including co-design and delivery of the Jisc digital leaders programme and addressing the challenges of building a sales-enablement programme for our distributed team of account managers.
