I support a number of research and development projects. Acting as an Agile coach/scrum master I help teams grow strong in applying the Agile principles to their work and guide them towards higher performance and continuous improvement.
I lead the knowledge exchange project which is aimed at supporting and increasing the uptake of good practice and information sharing across my division and Jisc. This includes organising cross-organisational meetings showcasing R&D projects, leading webinars and organising cross-Jisc events to share ideas and spark innovation (eg TEDxJisc).
I am a certified scrum master, MSP and Prince2 practitioner.
I also hold an MA in English linguistics and pedagogy and a BA in teaching English as a foreign language. I use my love for learning and teaching in my day to day job – always learning and improving and trying to facilitate really engaging workshops (also with the use of Lego Serious Play).
I've been in Jisc for over eight years providing programme and project support to the sector. In my previous role in the programme management office I provided support to 242 projects within 20 innovation programmes. This included creating and maintaining the Jisc project management guidelines which applied to all Jisc projects across HE and FE institutions, mapping processes and providing solutions on how to improve and streamline them, and organising over 100 major programme events.
