The data presented in this report was collected during the final phase of a three-year project to understand students’ expectations and experiences of technology. With more than 37,000 participants drawn from 83 further and higher education organisations, it is the largest sample of data looking at students’ digital experience of its kind.
Key findings include:
- The importance of digital in supporting the transition of learners into different stages of education, as well as into work
- The need for universities and colleges to offer further support around digital wellbeing, online safety and data privacy
- Students continue to express concerns that their courses do not fully prepare them for a digital workplace
