This project takes forward the work initiated by FELTAG (Further Education Learning Technology Action Group) to improve the use of digital technology in the further education (FE) and skills sectors.
About the project
The coalition brings together sector bodies and college and skills leaders from across the UK to share good practice and learn from each other.
Following on from the work of FELTAG, we're working to ensure that anyone with a continued interest in effective use of technology in the delivery of FE and skills development, can carry on the conversation.
Who will benefit?
Among the groups that we see as benefitting from the outcomes of this activity are:
- Learners - who will benefit from technology that supports their needs
- Employers - who will get candidates with better digital skills
- Teachers - who will get opportunities to gain confidence in the use of technology
- Institutional leaders - who be better able to make strategic choices about investments in technology
As part of this activity we're keen to hear about your innovative and effective practice in the use of technology for teaching and learning in the FE and skills area. We'll be producing a guide for the sector to highlight good practice, and would encourage you to share your initiative with us.
