Funding: whether you’re looking for it or offering it this new website aims to bring the opportunities together in one place.
How does it work?
FundFind uses a combination of automated and crowdsourced information to capture details of the various funding available for postgraduates at institutional and national level.
Funders can submit data to the site automatically through an API, but can also log in to amend the opportunities they’re advertising and also find out what other funders are offering. Postgraduates and staff can search within their subject area or institution or even by funder, to drill down to the right funding for their research questions.
“Opening up funding data in this way means a better deal for scholars because they don't have to spend time trawling the web. For funders, there's huge potential for them to reach more researchers and therefore receive better funding applications”

What's happening with 2013 ideas?
Jisc is working with six of the 21 projects from the 2013 Summer of Student Innovation to develop and explore the possibility of offering them as a shared service for the sector.
This project ran until winter 2014
