There is clear evidence of a growing interest and engagement with the electronic management of assessment (EMA) from UK universities and colleges (see recent surveys undertaken by the Heads of e-Learning Forum (HeLF) and the Universities and Colleges Information Systems Association (UCISA) report Strategic Challenges for IT Services.
The benefits of EMA are clear, (see the recent guide on this topic), but there is evidence to suggest that there are a number of challenges facing the sector in terms of EMA implementation.
Working in collaboration with UCISA and HeLF, we seek to better understand sector priorities in relation to these challenges. We will be exploring solutions to enable UK universities and colleges to maximise the benefits that technology can offer.
