Our co-design labs are one part of Jisc's co-design work, aimed at improving how we work with the sector to develop new ideas and identify new trends.
Why join a co-design lab?
Labs are a great personal development opportunity for practitioners to learn new skills in the area of prototyping and product development and receive a digital badge upon completion. In addition they are an excellent opportunity for sector practitioners to contribute to a potential new product for the sector.
Practitioners will work together develop a solution to a problem their institution faces, and one which can also have an impact on a national scale.
What do they involve?
The purpose of our co-design labs is to work with practitioners from HE and FE to help create and test a prototype of an idea that could potentially be developed by Jisc, the sector or another sector partner.
We will run two labs a year and each will focus on a different theme. Participation in the lab requires a commitment from practitioners of five days of activity spread over 2-3 months. This will include up to three full days of face-to-face participation, the remaining days participation will be virtual.
This is a great opportunity to influence Jisc's R&D work and to work with like minded individuals in a small collaborative group environment.
