I am head of change in the student experience team in the digital futures directorate. I currently lead our digital student project which researches students’ expectations and experiences of the digital environment in further and higher education and support developments around our building digital capability project.
I co-ordinate the further education (FE) and skills coalition group and manage the collation of best practice for the evolution of FELTAG report.
I have supported the creation of the change agents’ network - a national network to support staff-student partnership working on technology related curriculum change projects. I established and run our student experience experts group, an active community of practice, which continues to provides valuable consultation and dissemination opportunities for Jisc.
I have managed the production of numerous internationally-acclaimed Jisc publications including:

- Effective assessment in a digital age
- Effective practice in a digital age
- Designing spaces for effective learning
- In their own words
I have worked for Jisc for 14 years and have led large programmes of work on curriculum design, digital literacies and learners’ experiences of technology.
