My area of responsibility includes managing the new digital experience insights service which helps you gather evidence of how your students and staff see your digital environment. This builds on previous experience supporting students success across their digital journey through higher education.
I worked with universities for whom enhancing the student journey was a strategic priority and who were carrying out a review of their student systems. This included reviewing how universities have technically implemented the Higher Education Achievement Report (HEAR) and the emergence of digital credentials for wider and lifelong achievements.
I joined Jisc in January 2009 in the innovation directorate's e-learning team. I led a programme investigating technologies to support work based learning followed a 'course information' programme which implemented a standard way for describing various types of courses.
I represented Jisc on various national working groups for the Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE) Key Information Set (KIS), Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) and ULN.
Prior to Jisc, I worked in various commercial organisations (including developing their CRM applications) and the IT department for University of West of England as a manager for their strategic student experience programme. This included ten major projects which were designed to have maximum impact on the student experience across the university.
