Speaking at Data Matters: Work effectively in the HE landscape on
I work with a wide range of individuals, professional associations and organisations representing key higher education staff with the aim of bringing the benefits of technology to bear.
I'm currently managing a national project developing BI tools and services for 180 higher education providers, organisations and departments.
I've been working in higher education for nineteen years. The last nine years I've been with Jisc, firstly as a programme manager overseeing a diverse portfolio across the entire programme lifecycle comprising over 60 institutional projects.
Most recently I became a senior co-design manager, helping design new services for Jisc members. My Jisc career has seen me working for the innovation and now the digital futures teams in research and development.
In 2010 I worked with colleagues to develop the Jisc business intelligence guide, an online resource offering practical advice and guidance for those wishing to undertake BI in a higher educational setting. Later I contracted and oversaw eleven institutionally based projects as they used the resource, developing their own in house BI capability.
