A successful participatory workshop does not stop at the end of the event. If all has gone well you should have a wealth of material to review and build upon and a group of energised and enthusiastic staff keen to see some of the ideas generated turned into actions.
As you will have seen, several of the exercises covered are designed to start this process of transition from words to deeds and thoughts to action and with a bit of luck you will already have agreed some objectives and assigned some actions within the workshop. But there is still more to do. If you rest on your laurels now, all you risk achieving is a successful workshop with the true goal of organisational change still not achieved.
