About

Is your organisation lagging behind in wireless technologies? Or are you at the bleeding edge? It’s important to know, because quality of connectivity is an increasingly important factor in the competition for the best students.

This is why Jisc is launching a ‘wireless census’ in January 2019 and asking you all to spend a few minutes giving some basic information on the wireless facilities at your campuses. We aim to get a ‘snapshot’ of the state of wireless networking across UK academia, and to share the results with you. We’ll also use the data to shape our future programme of service development to best match your needs.

The best way for us to share the data we gather is as part this dedicated event where we can present and discuss the trends with you. We’re inviting you to join us to look at the census results, alongside a short programme of technical talks and case studies, and the opportunity to network with your colleagues in wireless tech across the sector.

Places are limited, so please register as soon as possible.
