Jisc's London office
5 Lancaster Place
We need your help to design a service that will assist employers with managing and reporting on their apprentices.
Digital apprentice is Jisc’s initiative looking to provide our customers with solutions that will enable them to manage the whole lifecycle of apprenticeship provision, from recruitment, through training, and on to post-apprenticeship positions.
Existing solutions offer dashboards for providers and apprenticeships but there is a lack of anything directed at employers that can use information from many providers. This requires institutions to build individual solutions, replicating activity and resources across all providers. We could offer a single solution that will be more cost-effective and resource-efficient for our members, in contrast to piecemeal solutions developed by individual members.
We propose to build a tracking, monitoring and reporting system focused on employers, allowing them to see at a glance what employees are studying, monitor progress and support their staff. Come and join us to help us get this process moving.
Who should attend
We are looking for people in universities, colleges and training providers with responsibility in managing apprentices as well as those who deal with the interface between data and people in relation to apprentices.
We are also interested in engaging with senior leaders in the sector with over-arching responsibility for this agenda.
