This is a chance to find out about some of the latest initiatives at the interface between the health and education and research informatics communities.
It is for informatics leads from both the NHS and higher education (HE) to help shape initiatives that improve connectivity and mechanisms for collaboration between the sectors.
Clinical education, clinical research and healthcare innovation rely on joint working between the NHS and universities and research institutes. The NHS-HE forum focuses on the informatics interface between the sectors in areas such as connectivity, access to data and learning or knowledge resources, and information governance.
Recently the adoption of eduroam in the NHS and the use of NHS data for clinical research and the associated information governance have become key topics.
This forum meets every six months as an informal group that relies on the influence, ideas and action of its individual members as a community to make a difference.
