With the growth in ownership of mobile technologies and the adoption by students as a means of communication, academics need to engage with this technology to enhance teaching and learning. Our mobile learning guide provides practical advice for educational organisations that are planning to implement such an initiative.
As part of an update to this resource, we invited organisations from across higher education (HE), further education (FE) and skills to showcase, through video, examples of good practice in the use of apps for teaching and learning.
This webinar will feature presentations from institutions who have been using mobile technology to engage students with physical disabilities and learning difficulties. They will share their experiences of using an app based approach to enhance the teaching and learning experience.
Why should I attend
The webinar will provide the opportunity to engage with other professionals who are using mobile technologies with special educational needs (SEN) learners, and gain practical examples that can be taken back to your own organisation.
Who should attend
- Academic professionals
- Library and learning support staff
- Learning technologists
- E-learning developers
