Join us for the launch event and inaugural meeting of the community of practice for the new Learning Analytics Cymru initiative.
This is a collaboration between Jisc, the Higher Education Funding Council for Wales (HEFCW), and Universities Wales.
Our learning analytics service uses nudge techniques via an app to present data to students, allowing them to assume greater ownership of their own success. The same underlying data is presented to lecturers and tutors via dashboards allowing greater insight into the strengths and weaknesses of groups and individual learners and targeted support where students need it most.
The Learning Analytics Cymru initiative was made possible by HEFCW’s agreement to provide up to £266,000 to co-fund the three-year project, which allows learners, teachers, institutions and Wales as a nation to analyse and respond to the data.
