Digifest 2016 was a celebration of the power of digital.
At our Digifest events, you’ll be able to debate and consider the critical issues affecting digital – the what, the why, the how.
You’ll be able to hear more about what’s on the horizon, and be inspired by the innovation that digital is making possible. And you’ll leave with something to share with others, to put into practice and to maximise the power that digital can bring to you.
Who should attend
The full programme for Digifest 2016 is now available.
As well as the plenary and parallel sessions, there are lots of opportunities to take time out whilst you are Digifest 2016. Time which you can use networking with peers from across HE and FE; time to meet with exhibitors who serve the education sector and want to demonstrate how they can help you make the most of technology; and time in which you can explore new and developing technologies.
At Digifest 2016 you’ll be able to experience virtual reality, and explore how this can be used in teaching and learning using a range of technologies. There will also be opportunities to explore the power of mobile technologies, and find out just how much you can do with a mobile phone; to experience the potential of robotics and meet with a family of robots; and to try your hand at 3D scanning and printing.
