This event builds on the huge amount of interest generated by the further education (FE) coalition meeting in October that touched on the issues of augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) tools in FE and skills.
It's also an opportunity to showcase some of our activities in this area, with an the opportunity to talk about the upcoming 'ARTours' app that is nearing release.
We aim to draw on the experience of a number of colleges and universities university doing interesting work in this area.
Leeds College of Music, who have kindly offered to host the event, will be showcasing some of the work they are doing using AR and VR approaches in music and performance education.
Who should attend
This event will be of interest to all those seeking to make sense of the possibilities that these new technologies open up in further education and skills as well as more widely in higher education and research.
Senior managers, practitioners, researchers and teachers should all find something of benefit at this event.
