There will be the opportunity to share plans, early experiences and discuss deployment.
Speakers include:
- James Blessing, deputy director of network architecture, Jisc - the technical details of presenting 100GbE networking to sites
- Tristan Clark, UCL - 100G network research at UCL
- Darren Harkins, Mellanox Technologies - an overview of 100GbE technology, now and the future
- Richard Hughes-Jones, GEANT - data transfer experiments over 100G paths
- David Salmon, head of research and e-infrastructure support, Jisc - the Jisc perspective and drivers for 100GbE upgrades to Janet-connected sites
- David Stockdale, Imperial College London - deploying 100GbE networking at Imperial College
- Simon Thompson, University of Birmingham - the path through 40G towards 100G
