Service level description
A service to provide organisations with space in a fully managed, secure data centre that is connected to the Janet core network.
Hours of service
The service is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, all year.
Please ensure your organisation understands and adheres to the security policy.
99.95%. Scheduled maintenance (which will not exceed one hour per calendar month) that may cause a loss of service will be carried out outside of business hours and usually with at least two weeks’ notice.
Emergency maintenance may be carried out where 2 weeks’ notice is not possible. The customer will be advised by email of any unplanned service downtime or operational problems affecting or likely to affect the services as soon as practical.

The customer is responsible for ensuring that their equipment installed in the data centre complies with all relevant legal, safety and electrical requirements and is covered by the customer’s public liability insurance.
The customer is also responsible on an ongoing basis for maintaining contact details.
