Co-location service - new applications no longer being accepted
Following the annual review of the co-location service, the decision has been made to withdraw the co-location service later in 2018 and we will no longer be accepting new applications.
We'll be contacting existing users to offer transition advice and guidance before it closes and will continue to support our existing co-location service customers until the service is withdrawn.

Service level description
A service to provide organisations with space in a fully managed, secure data centre that is connected to the Janet core network.
Hours of service
The service is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, all year.
Please ensure your organisation understands and adheres to the security policy.
99.95%. Scheduled maintenance (which will not exceed one hour per calendar month) that may cause a loss of service will be carried out outside of business hours and usually with at least two weeks’ notice.
Emergency maintenance may be carried out where 2 weeks’ notice is not possible. You will be advised by email of any unplanned service downtime or operational problems affecting or likely to affect the services as soon as practical.

you are responsible for ensuring that your equipment installed in the data centre complies with all relevant legal, safety and electrical requirements and is covered by your public liability insurance.
You are also responsible on an ongoing basis for maintaining contact details.
