As well as showcasing and sharing technology-based solutions and successes, this year’s event will examine the impact of new developments in 5G, the industrial internet of things (IIoT), edge computing and hybrid cloud infrastructures. In partnership with AWS, Jisc is creating a hybrid cloud solution that will bring key teaching assets and services such as advanced analytics, augmented reality and VDI right to the edge of members' networks. We’ll show you how to balance the benefits of cloud and edge computing.

The IIOT is changing the way we improve the student experience and sustainably manage our resources. Simon Farr will present Jisc’s service-led approach to delivering on the promise of smart campuses with Honeywell - a global leader in smart buildings - and chair a panel debate with AWS, Cradlepoint and Honeywell to discuss the art of the possible.
