Overview
Federated access management is now widely used in the UK's education sector. Federating access to resources requires learning providers to implement Identity Provider solutions, many of which are currently outsourced or provided by third parties. The focus of this free webinar is to explore the feasibility of learning providers hosting their own IdP. Francis Lowry, Data Warehouse Manager, Nottingham Trent University, will be presenting on their Identity Provider entity, developed in-house, which has been described by many in the FAM arena as an exemplar piece of innovative work. With updates from the JISC and the UK federation, this webinar promises to be both exciting and content-rich.
