EDINA
EDINA, based at Edinburgh University Data Library, is one of the JISC national data centres. It offers the UK tertiary education and research community networked access to a library of data, information and research resources. All EDINA services are available free of charge to members of UK tertiary education institutions for academic use, although institutional subscription and end-user registration are required for most services
What we can do for you
EDINA provides access to key information resources in order to enhance the productivity of research, learning and teaching. Generally under the terms of the JISC Model licence, the outputs of these resources can be used freely for everyday academic purposes. Currently, these range from images to films, maps and publication references being used in staff and student course-materials and research work.
To support and publicise these resources we run a number of training courses throughout the year as well as attending promotional events. We make a range of support documentation available on our website, publish Newsline (our quarterly newsletter) and make occasional contributions to academic and trade journals.
