EDINA
EDINA is a JISC national data centre based in Edinburgh, offering UK colleges and universities access to an online library of data, information and research resources.
EDINA provides access to key information resources to enhance the productivity of research, learning and teaching. Currently, these range from images to films, maps and publication references being used in staff and student course-materials and research work.
To support the use of these resources, EDINA provide support documentation and run a number of training courses throughout the year. Resources are promoted through their quarterly newsletter Newsline, events and through occasional contributions to academic and trade journals.
All EDINA services are available free of charge to members of UK colleges and universities for academic use under the terms of the JISC Model licence, although institutional subscription and end-user registration are required for most services.
