This proposal is for a second ‘Benefits Realisation’ phase of the original BIILS Project funded by JISC from August 2008 – May 2008. The original project – Benefits of ICT Investment Landscape Study – made 3 recommendations for future work and this proposal outlines work which will fulfil these recommendations. Firstly, Phase II will develop workshops based on the BIILS outputs for 3 pilot sites who are conducting cost-benefit evaluations of ICT investments. This ‘field test’ work will then be written up to provide 3 case studies of cost-benefit evaluation covering a range of investment scenarios. Finally, the original landscape report and evaluation toolkit will be updated as appropriate based on the work carried out and any further significant findings will be disseminated as appropriate.
