The purpose of this 6-month project, based at the University of Sunderland, is to carry out a review of university decision making for the purchase of electronic content subscriptions, focusing on institutional funding models, from a cross-sector perspective. Part of the project will be to identify case studies of "good practice" or "success stories" where institutional funding mechanisms have actually facilitated the take-up of electronic products and services and then "encouraged" its widespread use.
