At a general level, support for projects within the Managing Research Data Programme is being provided by the
DCC More specific support is being provided by 2 additional funded projects.
An important task for the Research Data Management Infrastructure Projects is to provide some account of the costs and benefits of the change to data management practice they are implementing. They are being assisted in this by the Business Models, Cost and Benefit Analyses Support Role accorded to Charles Beagrie Ltd.
Likewise, most of these projects are using tools and methodologies such as the Data Audit Framework (DAF) and Assessing Institutional Data Assets (AIDA). Guidance in this is being provided by the Integrated Data Management Planning Toolkit and Support Project (IDMP). Feedback acquired during the support phase will be used to refine and integrate the tools in question.
