Overview
The project aims to facilitate the creation and population of an Institutional Repository for the University of Reading, which will serve as an essential part of the University’s system for managing submissions to the forthcoming Research Excellence Framework and will bring significant benefits in terms of increased impact and visibility for its research. Throughout the start up project, staff time will be divided between the development of the IR and related systems and the significant task of driving rapid cultural change, through advocacy and training.
