This strand of work continues activities in the broad area of scholarly communications that were until 2010 overseen by the JISC Scholarly Communications Group
. It includes early work recommended by the Open Access Implementation Group
. Its aim is to provide reliable evidence on which policy makers can base their decisions (eg to increase OA or more effective management of IPR
) and to identify and share good practice. A key agent in this work is the Research Information Strategy project
at the University of Nottingham.
