The Design Studio
The newly launched Design Studio is a developing dynamic web-based toolkit which draws together a range of existing and developing resources around curriculum design and delivery and the role technology plays in supporting these processes and practices. This session will offer Experts an overview of the beta resource and then allow for group consultation and discussion on the development of this resource. Further information.

Emerging Challenges from the Institutional Approaches to Curriculum Design and Transforming Curriculum Delivery through Technology Programmes (This session will run as two breakout sessions offering experts the opportunity of discussing the emerging challenges projects are exploring)

 

Session A – Curriculum Design - This session provides an opportunity to learn more about the Curriculum Design, Cluster C (institutional learning design) projects and seeks input and comment from the experts group on some of the challenges that these projects are facing. These challenges relate to the development of curriculum design tools, processes and support for staff, which have the potential to enhance learning and teaching practice.

Session B – Curriculum Delivery Drawing on the successful piloting of a range of tools, technologies and processes colleagues from Curriculum Delivery Cluster D (Exeter, Hertfordshire, Westminster, Bristol) will share their experiences with particular reference to "Winning Hearts and Minds" (engaging stakeholders) including dealing with unanticipated outcomes. They will explore with Experts strategies for embedding project outcomes and planning for sustainability.

Members Showcase

Members from the Experts Group are invited to showcase their work or invite feedback on specific areas they are working within. The session will run as 25 minute roundtable discussions.

 

Effective Practice with e-Assessment

The e-Learning Programme is updating this publication in recognition of the importance of assessment as reflected by the community and is looking to the experts to feed into its rewrite. A group consultation activity around this publication will be undertaken.
