It included some of the CABLE activities and also discussed the support that CABLE introduces, such as the curriculum design toolkit.

Parallel 1: Curriculum delivery – transforming practice – an FE perspective (PDF) Jacky MacMillan, e-Construction Transformation Project The e-Construction Transformation Project (eCTP) seeks to resolve some of these challenges and to support Scotland’s economy through the growth and increased efficiency of the Scottish construction sector. eCTP aims to transform the efficiency and effectiveness of the Scotland-wide college delivery of work-based qualifications and learning for Modern Apprentices in construction. The project team expects to enhance and radically change learner and tutor experiences by harnessing technology and sound pedagogy to both develop new content and devise innovative approaches to designing learning activities. eCTP is one of six projects funded by the Scottish Funding Council under its e-Learning Transformation Programme. Parallel 2: Curriculum delivery – transforming practice – an HE perspective (PowerPoint) Paul Bartholomew, Lead Academic Consultant - Redesign of the Learning Experience project, Birmingham City University & Learning and Teaching Consultant (e-Learning) - Health Sciences & Practice Subject Centre What does technology supported curriculum delivery mean to staff designing and delivering programmes in Higher Education? This session will offer a perspective on how we manage the capacity and expectations of staff engaged in this activity and will seek audience participation in critiquing approaches to embedding technology within the academic practice of curriculum delivery.
