e-Learning framework toolkits and demonstrators 2007

All projects funded under this call have now completed. Copies of the final report and further details can be found on each project page (see project links below).

In September 2006 JISC invited proposals to:

a) Develop a toolkit - to develop web services APIs for existing applications along with software development kits (SDKs) that enable developers to use the web services APIs in one or more popular programming languages.
OR
b) Develop a demonstrator - to develop applications or services that consume documents from web services APIs and/or submit documents to web service APIs. The web service APIs can be either web service APIs from an existing ELF Toolkit or from an institutional system that was not developed as part of the JISC e-Learning Programme.

Nine projects were funded under the call, three demonstrators and six toolkits. One further toolkit transferred from the last round to be completed during this round (Saving Private Data). The full list of projects being undertaken are:
