Lifelong and Work-based Learning Workshop
Introduction and aims
This workshop is aimed at projects working in the areas of lifelong learning and work-based learning (including the HE in FE projects, and Cross-Institutional Phase 1 and 2 projects). It aims to provide an opportunity for projects to share experiences, discuss areas of common interest, discuss what lessons will be learnt, and get involved with new opportunities to foster collaboration and exchange of ideas.
Timings
- 13.00 – 15.00: Introduction and discussion tables
- 15.00 – 15.20 Tea / coffee
- 15.20 – 16.30 Project outputs exercise.
Outcomes
By the end of the workshop participants will:
- Have had an opportunity to share their experiences and concerns with peers
- Have an understanding of what other projects in related areas are doing
- Have thought through and shared what their project hopes to achieve by the end of the programme and the impact of that on the wider community
- Have experience of an initiative that will enable them to continue to network past this meeting
