Technology change for inclusion (PDF) Final report
12 steps towards embedding inclusive practice with technology as a whole institution culture in UK Higher Education

The aim is to uncover or develop aspects of good practice in inclusive learning and teaching. The deliverables in support of this aim are a series of Case Studies across a range of subject disciplines highlighting the development of a replicable inclusive use of technology in learning and teaching. A leaflet reporting on the Case Studies delivered by this Project will be produced and disseminated via the Higher Education Academy Subject Centres Network, JISC Regional Support Centres, and other appropriate intermediaries.

Project methodology

A call for bids will be issued by JISC TechDis. Successful bidders will be required to produce final reports (May 2009) detailing achievements.

Anticipated outputs and outcomes

Completed case studies will be presented to the sector via a variety of media (JISC TechDis website, Higher Education Academy Subject Centres’ websites, RSC websites, 4-pp A4 leaflet). Selected projects will also be invited to present on a dedicated HEAT scheme exhibition stand at the Higher Education Academy Conference 2009.
