Learning and Teaching Innovation Grants: SWaNI FE

The SWaNI FE Learning and Teaching Innovation Grants programme supports one year projects from further education colleges in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland of up to £50,000 each dealing with any aspect of e-learning.

2 stage assessment  process
  • Stage 1 A short outline proposal submitted via a bid template allowing assessors to choose interesting projects for the next stage
  • Stage 2 Submission of a full bid allowing the bidding team to elaborate on their project, evaluated by external experts, members of RSC staff, members of the JISC Learning and Teaching Committee and JISC programme managers.

There were 32 initial submissions, from which 14 were invited to prepare a full bid, 11 of these submitted proposals and 7 projects have been approved for funding.
