e-Portfolio workshops
A series of workshops linked to the e-Portfolios infoKit and effective practice guide, Effective Practice with e-Portfolios were held in Newcastle, Glasgow, Birmingham and London during February and March 2009. An additional two workshops were held later that year in Northern Ireland at the University of Ulster, and London.
The workshops explored issues and benefits relating to e-portfolios as well as providing opportunities for discussion and hands-on activities with e-portfolio systems.
Guidance was provided by expert facilitators, Netskills and staff from JISC e-portfolio projects.
Drawing on the work of these projects the workshops provided a snapshot of learning enhanced by e-portfolios in higher, further and continuing education.
Attendance on the workshop was free to staff from the Higher and Further Education sector.
