Course Data Stage 2 University of Leicester

The University of Leicester is one of the larger UK providers of online and distance education in terms of student numbers and course range. The nature of this provision is complex and it would be useful for the University to see how XCRI-CAP can help better manage our course information and whether it can improve our efficiency in promoting courses.

Objectives

To successfully implement a sustainable system generated XCRI-CAP feed available at a COOL URI by September 2012. In the first instance this would cover our centrally marketed Distance-Learning programmes. Following this an additional objective it to determine whether XCRI-Cap could be expanded to further courses should there be demonstrable business benefit in using XCRI-CAP.

Anticipated Outputs and Outcomes

  • A sustainable system generated XCRI-CAP feed with COOL URI
  • A series of project reports
  • A project blog
