Course Data Stage 2 Leeds Trinity: Making the most of Course Information

Summary

In this project Leeds Trinity University seeks to outline the framework for implementing how we will make the most of course information to the benefit of students, the Higher Education sector and the future sustainability of the institution.

This will include:

  • A review of the Leeds Trinity University course portfolio – undergraduate (UG), postgraduate (PG), foundation (FD), part time and continuing professional development (CPD)
  • A review of the course lifecycle and the processes/validation that it travels through before student recruitment
  • Widening the project group to ensure that all levels of the University community will be involved and commit to the successful implementation

The majority of programmes at Leeds Trinity University are aimed at the undergraduate market and the process for collating this course data is well established. There are also a number of other courses aimed at the foundation degree, postgraduate degree and the CPD market with less consistent course data. The aim of this project is to bring all our courses into a standard format which can become the foundation for future development. The last step will be to create the XCRI feed to global data aggregators.
