Rogō OSS
Summary
The Rogō OSS project will package an in-house e-assessment tool for wider re-use under an open source licence. We will support the transfer of Rogō to five HEIs and promote the creation of an open source community around it. The aims of this 12 month project are to update, promote and create support materials to facilitate the release of Rogō as a publically available open source e-assessment tool. In particular to create, as a community, a leading e-assessment management system that is scalable, secure, re-useable and extensible.
Objectives
The objective of the project is to build a strong and sustainable open source version of Rogō that meets the e-assessment needs of HEI.
Anticipated Outputs and Outcomes
- Rogō installed and piloted at five named project partners.
- Code released to open source community under appropriate license.
- Community support in the form of: a) online help, b) bug tracking system, c) mailing list.
- Dissemination of case studies documenting advantages and lessons learnt from installing the system at each partner location.
- Enhanced system functionality in response to partners’ needs analysis and subsequent development.
