Using and contributing to the e-Framework
Phil Nicholls
The heart of the e-Framework is the web-based knowledge base. The
website offers users from different domains the chance to contribute their
own work and to search for the work of others. All of the contributed
e-Framework components, from the high level Service Genres to the Commonly
Recurring Service Usage Models are posted to the website. In addition, the
website also includes guidance material and news from the Service Oriented
world as well as papers, presentations and other interesting
resources.
This session provided a general introduction to the e-Framework
knowledge base from the point of view of institutions, developers and
funders. The main components of the e-Framework were discussed, along with
guidance on how to submit project outputs for inclusion. Delegates were
shown how their own particular projects related to the e-Framework, and how
to best showcase their own work within it.
