The aim of the meeting is to share best practice and lessons learnt between projects, and to encourage collaboration. It will be a chance for projects to discuss challenges such as culture change, take-up of new ideas and practices, evaluation, and sustrainability.

This programme meeting brings together the following projects:

  • Distributed e-Learning regional pilots
  • Scottish Funding Council e-Learning transformation projects
  • Exchange for Learning phase 2 projects
  • Digital repositories projects related to e-Learning

In addition, some of the distributed e-Learning projects at the Higher Education Academy Subject Centres will be represented.

These projects are all working with e-Learning 'in the real world', whether that is institutional, cross-institutional, or outside institutions. The aim of the meeting is to share best practice and lessons learnt between these projects, and to encourage collaboration. It will be a chance for projects to discuss challenges such as culture change, take-up of new ideas and practices, evaluation, and sustainability. There will also be more domain-specific sessions on the following four themes:

  • e-Portfolios, PDP and learner records
  • Learning materials - creation, sharing and reuse
  • Assessment
  • Joining up systems and supporting the lifelong learner
