Exporting Metadata to Digital Portals - Experiences of the Freeze Frame project

The University of Cambridge's Freeze Frame project, funded under the JISC Digitisation Programme to digitise its collection of historic polar images, conducted a related investigation on exporting its metadata to different portals on the Internet.

JISC Content Presentation Layer

A project aimed at creating a common web interface to access all digital content either funded by JISC or licenced by JISC Collections. The project was managed by JISC Collections and the interface is now available at http://www.jisc-content.ac.uk.

DiSCmap: Digitisation in special collections: mapping, assessment, prioritisation

A study commissioned by JISC in collaboration with the Research Information Network (RIN) aimed at identifying the key priorities for future digitisation of content held within UK Higher Education institutions. Read more

Usage and Impact Study of JISC Digitisation Projects Phase One and Toolkit for the Impact of Digitised Scholarly Resources

A study on the usage and impact of a selection of online digital resources which were funded as part of the JISC Phase One Digitisation Programme, 2004-2007. The study also produced a Tololkit for the Impact of Digitised Scholarly Resources.

Evaluation of the JISC Digitisation Programme - Phase Two (2007-2009)

The evaluation of phase two of the Digitisation programme is currently underway. The programme evaluation is conducted in collaboration with all 16 digitisation projects and in coordination with the projects' own evaluation activities. The final report will be available in Summer 2009.
