This project responds to an identified need for evidence based information and resources for front line workers in relation to sexual health, sexual awareness, media and technology. Led by a multi-agency steering group it is to develop a platform for the engagement and co-creation of content by two communities: (i) front line staff requiring evidence based resources in relation to sexual health, sexual awareness, media and technology; and (ii) subject experts in understanding the needs and uses of evidence based research by such front line staff. This will create a dynamic resource base capable of developing in response to the growing body of evidence arising from academic research and in response to the immediate needs of front line staff. This platform will foster collaborative partnerships between the wide range of organisations working in related areas including: education, health, research, social care and media studies. The platform will demonstrate collaborative knowledge exchange by enabling the processes of applying research in practical settings, and informing research communities on the relevance and impact of their work.
