Centre for Digital Asia, Africa & the Middle East

This project will see the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) establish a Centre for Digital Asia, Africa and the Middle East. The Centre will develop a digital collection, curation, preservation and dissemination strategy for SOAS.

The centre will set up a network of partners that will enhance the usability of our complimentary resources by developing a standards-based, region-specific approach to the general problem of making federated resources available in a coherent manner.

The centre, in collaboration with its partners, will create a portal that will enable cross-repository searching, as well as training materials, documentation and best practices online.
