Rights and Rewards in Blended Institutional Repositories

Project Description

In the context of establishing a single repository to meet the teaching and research needs of an institution, this project will address motivational issues facing depositors, namely support, rights and rewards.  As much work has already been done on motivating the deposit of research papers and associated rights protection issues, the project will focus on the support issues, rights protection and rewards necessary to motivate teaching academics to use repositories and will blend the results with those required by research academics.  The rights and rewards solutions will be piloted by the Loughborough University Repository and Best Practice Guidelines will be disseminated to the wider HE/FE community.
