Future Skills for Creative Industries in West London
Overview
Joint project by two West London Universities, Roehampton University (RU) and Thames Valley University (TVU), together with Ealing Hammersmith and West London College (EHWLC), focussed defining how collaborative provision to the vibrant Creative Industries sector of West London will work in the post Leitch Review environment of employee-led demand.
Aims and objectives
- To give practical help for institutions developing workforce development services to support lifelong learning within the context of Leitch Review.
- To address the need for systems and processes that work across different institutional functions.
- To show how to deliver collaborative provision workforce development services across two or more institutions including an FE college.
- To give solutions that leverage existing employer engagement infrastructure to generate cost savings and efficiencies.

CPD) system.

Creative industries requirements for ‘employer engagement’ in a demand-led scenario, collected during several focus groups.

A gap analysis between current HEI business process and new processes required for demand-led provision.
