Personnel strategy and liaison manager - Jisc


Role

A key part of my role is to develop a coherent Human Resources Strategy for Jisc, to enable the staff who form the Jisc Executive and who currently work for three different employing institutions to operate as a cohesive team in the achievement of the organisation’s corporate objectives, and to be selected, inducted, and developed to meet Jisc’s requirements.

I also act as a central point of contact for the employing HR/Personnel Departments, liaising between senior managers and the HR/Personnel Departments to implement Jisc HR Strategy and to ensure that, as far as possible within the constraints of the situation staff across the four sites are treated equally. A further, important aspect of my role is in the provision of advice and support to the staff and managers of Jisc across a broad spectrum of employment related matters.
