Communications coordinator - Jisc


Role

I am one of several communications co-ordinators working on internal communications within the Jisc communications and marketing team. I manage a range of projects which aim to provide communications support to the Jisc Executive and Jisc Services. These include providing access to advice and guidance documents on communications planning, design templates for programme level digital publications and sharing communications plans across the Jisc Executive and Services through planning tools and newsletters.



Background

I am a CIM qualified Marketing and Communications professional with more than 10 years experience.

I provide communications support to Jisc staff through communications planning and project management. I also give advice and guidance on how to manage and deliver communications effectively. 

My other key skills are in copy writing and editing, event management and sponsorship, and supplier relationships.

Before joining Jisc in 1999, I worked at the University of Bristol and University of the West of England providing administrative support for a wide range of work but mostly in the area of disability and learning difficulties.
